Christmas with the Clarks!

Christmas was GREAT at our house. We opened Pajamas on Christmas Eve.
Lizzy and Mikki got High School Musical PJs and Brylee got Dora PJs. The girls slept until about 8 a.m. and then we turned the heat up and started to open presents.
The girls got exactly what they had asked for . . . . a Wii!!!!
Brylee got a Doll House and the rest is history. The girls played for hours with the Wii and Brylee has played non-stop with her new doll house.
They also got fun sun-glasses in their stockings!!! Some of our friends gave us a "Sacred Grove" 500 piece puzzle. Bo spent all afternoon putting it together.
It is beautiful and we are thinking about framing it!!! It snowed here all day and so it was nice to just hunker down and stay at home and enjoy the blessings that we have!! Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas!

Christmas Parties

This week has been super crazy! Monday night was Bo's office party! It was fun and the food was good!
Tuesday night was our Ward Christmas party. The Primary kids put on a program. Mikki and Lizzy were Angels and Brylee was a stable animal. I believe she was a donkey. The pictures aren't great, but I still think she is cute!

Brylee as a Stable Animal!
They also had a back-drop all set up if you wanted to have family Christmas pictures taken. Mom and Dad wanted some with the grandkids that were there! I thought they turned out cute!

The rest of the week consisted of getting ready for our Family Christmas party today! Sorry, I don't have any pictures. I get so caught up in all the fun, I forget to take pictures! Oh well, I think the sisters took some cute ones. I will just have to borrow some from them!
Hope everyone is having a GREAT holiday season!

The Forgotten Carols

My sister got us all free tickets to go and see the Arimo/McCammon Stakes put on the The Forgotten Carols. I hand't seen this since Bo and I were dating. What an amazing show and a GREAT way to get into the Christmas spirit. The singers were awesome and I was in tears after the first song. I haven't listened to these songs for a couple of years and think I better pull the CD back out and get back into the REAL Christmas Spirit! If you can't see the show at least listen, really listen to the songs and the messages that they give!
AWESOME!!! Recommend it for anyone for next year, or if they can get tickets to see Michael McLean's in person! Here's to a GREAT holiday season!

Family Night

Last night for FHE the little bowling alley here in town had a Family Night! It was $1.50 a game, no shoe rental and the kids could get a hot dog, chips, and a small drink for $1.50. It was GREAT! The kids love to learn something new. Brylee only made it to about the 5th frame, but she had a lot of fun! What a great way to spend some time as a family.

Veteran's Day Program

I had the privelage of taking the girls to the Veteran's Day Program here in town. Any, my Uncle Rick was honored as a Vet and my Dad was the one who got to read a little bit about what he did in the Vietnam War.

My dad did such an awesome job. It was a GREAT program put on by the 4th graders at the elementary school. For most who were in attendance, by the time the program was over there wasn't a dry eye in the house! Thank you vets and for those who are still serving our Country! We Thank You!!

Halloween!!!!

Here are some pictures from Halloween!
This is Lizzy in the Elementary Halloween Parade. They walk to the hospital and back to the Elementary. The Third Grade went into the Nursing Home and sang to the residents all dressed up in their costumes! Do you remember this Halloween Parade?
This is Mikki in the Parade! She wouldn't put her dress down!
Brylee was a witch for Halloween!!!
Mikki was Snow White!
Lizzy was a DEVIL! She was a China Girl in the Parade, but her costume ripped and so she wore the Devil Costume for Trunk or Treat!
The girls!
And last, but not least, me and Bo! Do you like our costumes? Check out my belt! Yep, it says "Woman"!!!!!
Parade, Carnival, Trunk or Treat, it was all GREAT! We even went on Saturday and bought us some costumes for next year at half-price! Lets get ready for Thanksgiving!!!!

Scardie Cow?????

Okay, so most of you know that mom and dad live out in the country, sort-of!!! So, one of the farmers has put some cows in on the field next to the house. The girls absolutely love running out and screaming at them and making them run off! Well, yesterday they were feeding them old flowers and mulched-up leaves. Brylee and Emma were standing by the fence. Who do you think is more scared?

Notice the cows just staring at them. Maybe they think they are going to get more food!!!!

And, as dad pointed out, please take an extra close look at Brylee's shoes! Yep, those are my good brown church shoes she is wearing out in the garden to feed the cows. Nice!!!!!
I will post Halloween pics a little later! Love to all! Have a Happy Halloween!

Late Fall Pictures

Here are some pictures that I took earlier this fall. Uncle Ray was cutting his corn/feed for the cows and called and told us that if we wanted to take some pictures it in we could! What a GREAT idea! I think they turned out very cute! Lizzy is very photogenic, and, of course, the other two weren't as cooperative, but they are still are adorable!! Hopefully we can do it again next year! Enjoy!

Our New Toy!!!

Okay, so as all of you know, Bo wrecked the little white car a couple of weeks ago. Since then we have been a one car family and trying to decide what we wanted to get. Well, we knew we had to do something fast, since we ARE NOT A ONE CAR FAMILY!!! (Way to many places to be at the same time!)
So, we started getting all of our ducks in a row, financing, payments, etc. The next step was finding what we wanted. We kind of had an idea but weren't sure if we would even be able to find what we wanted in our price range. So, Dad suggested we go visit a friend up in Pocatello that owns a used car dealership and ask him if he knew of anyone or had any ideas for us. Well, we stopped in and asked, he made some phone calls for us and the next thing we knew we were driving around town with him talking to different dealerships and skipping all the middle men! Yep, we went right to the managers! It was GREAT! Thanks Roy Brown at R & J Used Auto!!!
Well, we ended finding two trucks that we really liked and couldn't decide between the two. So on Saturday afternoon we headed back to Pocatello, test drove them both and then decided that whoever gave us the best price would be the winner. So, Phil Meador Toyota gave us the best deal and we took it! So, here is the new truck . . . .

It is a Nissan Titan and it has lots of extras, like a gas and brake pedal that move towards you for us short legged folk!!!! We love this truck! It is just what we wanted! Bo will be the main driver, although, the girls think that I should be driving it!!! I just told them that during the winter when dad gets called into town and there is snow on the ground, that he will have to drive the truck that has 4-wheel drive!!!!
By the way, soccer is officially over. Our last games were on Saturday. It was a beautiful day to end soccer on. We had trophies and the kids had a blast! So here's to next year!!!!
Love to all and have a GREAT week!

Our Missionaries!

Okay so here is some BIG news! Mom and Dad have been called by the First Presidency of the Church to serve a service mission in Adam-Ondi-Ahmen, Missouri. This came as a shock to all of us! They went in to see the Stake President on what they thought was a routine visit for a class they teach, they soon thought wrong!
Well, they made the announcement in Church yesterday so we can officially start to talk about it. I think lots of people were shocked, but also very excited for mom and dad. We are very excited about this and feel that we as a whole family are going to be so blessed to have them serve this mission! Although, like we sisters said in church yesterday, it is going to be hard to share our parents with the people in Missouri, but the people in Missouri are going to be just as blessed for getting to know these two GREAT members of the church.
We are will miss them a ton, but they will be back before we know it! And, in fact, they actually don't leave until the end of February, so we will be getting in lots of time with them before they leave! Plus, we will plan a trip to go and visit!
Love you MOM and DAD! We are so proud of your decision! Good Luck!

HOLY S**T!!!

Okay, so I get a call from Bo around 6:30 p.m. or so and he tells me that he has been in an accident and he is pretty sure the car is totaled. I say, okay, where are you. He tells me where he is, I get dad and we rush over to where he is. This is what we found when we arrived . . . .

I was stunned and Bo was in shock. He was on his way home and was coming down a small hill and got over for a utility truck. They just re-chipped this part of the road and the gravel is very deep. Well, when he went to get back on the road the rear end of the car fish-tailed through the gravel and he ended up running up an embankment, flipped 180 degrees, and landed on an EMPTY propane tank. How grateful we were that that tank was empty and not full. I was very nervous about him, but he continues to assure me that he is just fine. Although, he keeps telling me that he feels stupid, and I keep telling him that he is not stupid and it can happen to anyone of us and it is a blessing that he is just fine and that no one else, especially one of the girls was not with him at the time. We will definitely thank the big guy upstairs for all of our many blessings tonight!

1st Week of Soccer

So, Saturday was our first official week of soccer. Things went well and we received several compliments as to how much the parents enjoyed the way that we have set it up. Hopefully, it will continue to progress and we will have even more kids out next year!
Both Lizzy and Mikki did very well. Mikki just kind-of ran around the field and smiled! Lizzy was awesome. She scored several goals and was very excited!!! She has shown a lot of progression just since last year! No pictures yet. I will have to try and figure out to post them using dad's computer!
Well, things are going good here. Bo likes his job and I am still busy being home with the kids and running all sorts of errands!!!!
Hope all is well!
Love to all!

Ahhhh, Soccer!

Okay, so since moving back to Idaho and our little town, Bo and I expressed our interest in helping with soccer. We said we would help coach if they needed. Well, the City Secretary just happens to be Brylee's pre-school teacher. So we talked to her and told her the same, we were interested and wanted to know if they were going to do soccer this year. She said yes, she was just slow getting the flyers out to parents and kids. Well, the flyers went out on a Monday and by Wednesday, Bo and I found out that . . . . . . WE ARE IN CHARGE OF THE WHOLE PROGRAM!!! AAAAAHHHHHHHH! So this past week I have been puting teams together, trying to find coaches, ordering equipment, etc. We had our first coaches meeting last night and I think things went ok. Hopefully the kids will have fun and next year we will have a better turn out! Well, wish Bo and I luck in running the program. I guess if we bomb, they won't ask us to do it again!!! :)

Preschool :(

Okay, so Wednesday was Brylee's first day of Pre-school. She has been soo excited and that was all she talked about for weeks in her big sisters got to go to school and she didn't. So, the big day finally arrived. She was up and dressed all by herself before I knew it. We headed into pre-school. When we got there I noticed that she got a little nervous. I read her a couple of books and then talked to the teacher for a few minutes. Well, on my way out the door I stopped to tell her bye and that I would see her in a couple of hours, well, she was sobbing. :( I comforted her and then for the next 30 minutes she wouldn't leave my side. Everytime I got up to move she grabbed me and said, "Don't leave me mommy." Doesn't that just break your heart. Well, I told myself I had to go or the next time she went she would want me to stay again. So, I got up the courage, her teacher got her entertained and I snuck out. Well, as I was driving by I seen on of the helpers pick her up and walk back to kitchen area with her. I cried the whole way back to mom and dad's! My baby is such a big girl and going to pre-school already. When I went back to get her, she was fine. Her teacher said that she had a shadow most of the day, but she did quit crying! Hopefully when she goes on Monday, she and I will both do a little better!

The girls absolutely love school and Lizzy says it is better than her school in Washington! Go figure!!! They have both made lots of new friends and Brylee start pre-school next Wednesday. She is super excited! Bo and I are doing just fine. Bo really likes his new job and I still enjoy being home with the kiddos! Well, I hope to hear from everyone! Hope all is well! Love to all!

We Made It!!!!

So on Wednesday night some men from the ward showed up to help us load! We loaded that truck until 11 p.m. Bo and I didn't get to sleep until after midnight. We got up the next morning and headed for Malad! We made to Malad at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday night. We unloaded the truck on Friday, it took two small storage units to fit everything. We took the girls school shopping to Logan later that afternoon and took the Penske truck back. On Saturday, it was Bo's class reunion. We caught up with lots of his friends and then hung out! We spent some time with our friends Ryan and Kacey and then went to the Famous Preston Night Rodeo with Justin and Colleen! It was GREAT fun! Although, today, I am super tired! I am using the sister's computer so I better get going! Hope all is well and I will try to keep you all updated!

Well, I really don't I am down to the TVs, computer and left over items that we use on a daily basis!! I hope we can fit everything in the truck! Mom and dad came out on Monday, loaded dad's truck, a uhaul trailer with the outdoor stuff, and left this morning at 7 a.m. with the three girls! Thanks Mom and Dad for helping us move. We couldn't have done it without you! We have had lots of friends come and say their farewells! Some of have been really emotional and if I even think about it or talk about it, I start to cry all over again! We are going to miss Kennewick very much, but are soo excited to be closer to family! Well, I better get back to finishing up! This is the last post for a week or so. I will have to try and use a sister's computer to keep you updated! Wish us luck and say a prayer for safety and that our house sells soon!!!!!! Love to all!
