Super Saturday and Sunday

Our SUPER weekend actually started on Friday with Bo tilling the garden. It was tough at first but he did a GREAT job. Bo running the tiller.
On Saturday morning we got up and harrowed the garden. This was a blast. We hooked up the harrower (not sure if that is even how you say it or spell it!) to the 4-wheeler and away we went. It was a blast!
I think the garden looks GREAT! And I think Bo did an AWESOME job!!!!!
After getting the garden ready, we decided to plant some new raspberry starts! Mom had transplanted several last fall, but a few of them didn't make it.
The look great already! So excited!!!!
After getting the garden, etc., ready, we headed to Pocatello to do some shopping. It had been two months since Bo and I had been shopping just the two of us. So totally enjoyed our time together. While we were out of town, we decided to look for a new bike for Lizzy. She had completely out grown her other one and so we bought her a new one.

She was soo excited. We also bought her a "Mountain Dew" helmet. That is an inside joke her at our house!!!! She thinks it is too cool!!!!! After getting Lizzy's new bike going, we had to work on the other two as well.
Mikki's bike needed training wheels, and once they were on, she hasn't stopped.
Bylee's didn't need much, but she finally ventured from the cement pad out in front of the shop. She did crash and burn on Sunday afternoon, but she recovered just fine and was ready to go again!!!!
Also on Sunday, we headed to my sister Debbie's to Ordain Matt a Deacon. Bo was asked to take care of this. He was a little nervous, got some advice from dad in Missouri, and he did an AWESOME job. I will post pictures of this later on.
When we got home Sunday afternoon, this is what was coming over Elk Horn Peak. I love the smell of rain and the way it looks when it is coming across the valley.

Unfortunately, none of it actually hit us. Oh well, it is still gorgeous!
Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and look forward to a GREAT week!
(Once again don't look at the date at the bottom of my pictures! Someone, I won't name names keeps messing with my camera!)

5 . . . 6 . . . Pick Up Sticks

In preparation of mowing the lawn, I sent the girls outside to pick up the sticks that had blown out of the trees over the last several weeks. The did a GREAT job and actually had fun, for a while! Lizzy picked up sticks and also pushed the wheel-barrel wherever I needed! She was a GREAT help!
Mikki thought it was funner to get the really big ones and take them straight to the stick pile out behind the shop instead!!!!
And, Ms. Brylee was more of a help "skwinging" than picking up sticks!!!!
Hopefully we will get the lawn mowed tomorrow before the next storm hits! Hope everyone is enjoying this GREAT spring weather!!!! More please! :)

Hannah Who?

So, the girls got the new Hannah Montana: The Movie CD for Easter from me and Bo. They were so excited! However, I asked Brylee who was on the cover and she said: Hannah MontHannah!!!!
That's right folks, her name is Hannah MontHannah!!! NOT, Hannah MONTANA, but Hannah MONTHANNAH!!!!!
We love that Brylee girl! She is always making us laugh!!!!

What's for Breakfast?

Every morning when we get Brylee up, we ask her what she wants for breakfast. And almost every morning she asks for Cookie Crunch! Well, this morning was no different. However, I don't have any cookie crunch and the last time we were out of town, they didn't have any at the store. :(
So, this is how our conversation went this morning:
N: Bones!!!! Good Morning! What would you like for breakfast?
B: Cookie Crunch (still rubbing the sleep from her eyes)
N: I don't have any Cookie Crunch, remember? They were all out at the store.
B: They have a lot of it in Mexico!
N: They have a lot of it in Mexico?
B: Ahh huh
N: Well I am not driving to Mexico for Cookie Crunch, so pick something different! (Trying not to laugh out loud!!)

It is amazing what little ones will say! She has made my day!!!!

Easter

We had a very busy Easter weekend. On Friday it was Ashlee and Nicole's dance competition in Preston! (See previous videos of two of their dances!) All three of my girls had a blast! If you have ever been to Preston High, you will remember the metal railing on the balcony that you could swing from! This was Brylee's favorite spot, but she kept scaring me!!! Swinging from the railing!!!!
On Saturday it was the Easter Egg Hunt in town. We took all three girls, unfortunately, the only picture I have is one that Kath took! She remembered her camera!!!! Mikki and Blake with the egg's they found!!!!
Next it was home to do a few things around the house and then off to Ogden for a baptism. Our good friends, Lonny and Camillie, baptized their youngest, Kyler! It was GREAT to get away!
Lonny and Kyler after he was baptized! We also had to document that Lonny was wearing a tie! This is a rarity!!! :) Camille is totally AWESOME and put on an Easter Egg Hunt for all the kids that were at the baptism.
The three girls after finding their eggs!!! It was starting to get really cold by the time they were done! Can you tell?
Brylee was so excited! She would pick up one egg and run past four others!!! She went to a special spot that, Braxton (Camille's oldest son) has hid special for her. She was very upset to find that someone had alreay taken it. She went right back in the church and told Braxton and he pulled an extra egg out of his pocket! He told her he had saved it just in case someone else had taken her special egg! She was sooo excited! Thanks Braxton!!! You are the best!!!
Mikki picking up lots of eggs! She made out like a bandit!!!
On Sunday, we opened what the "Easter Bunny" had brought and then just relaxed! Of course, the "Easter Bunny" brought lots of Softball equipment for the whole family! Lonny, Camille and kids came over that evening for dessert and Bo and I watched a movie with the girls! It was a wonderful weekend!!!
Hope everyone's Easter was GREAT!

My Mikki . . .

My Mikki has had this wart at the top of her hand for a long time. We have actually been to the doctor and had it froze twice already since we moved home. Bo tried using the home stuff before that. We just can't seem to get rid of the darn thing. So, on Monday I made her another appointment to have it froze, yet again. The doctor shaved off the top part, and then he and Mikki counted to 10 as he froze it. He did this twice. She was very brave and only started to cry a little after it unthawed and started to itch. She did AWESOME! So, Tuesday morning she gets up goes to school, comes home and shows me this . . . . . .
I immediately call Bo and ask what to do? He says he will be home shortly and has a plan of action for this daddy's girl. When he gets home we talk to her and tell her that she needs to drain the blood and fluid that his built up since it was froze. She, of course, starts to cry. We try to calm her fears and tell her it won't hurt. Bo gets a needle, pokes the blister, and blood and fluid drain out. She decides it wasn't so bad, and every night since then we have been draining the fluid from the blister. We just keep telling her that from the looks of it this time, we should have definitely got rid of that pesky wart!!!!

What a week!

Our week started off slow, but moved quickly from there! On Wednesday, we headed back to Washington to get the last of our stuff out of the garage! We had been waiting for the weather to get nicer. Don't want to drive the Blue's in the snow!!! So, since it was the girls' spring vacation and spring vacation for our friends in Washington we headed out. Lizzy was sick on Wednesday morning, but did fine on the ride to Boise. Mikki threw-up just after Snowville but that was the only time and no one else has been sick. Thank goodness!
We stayed in Boise at the Holiday Inn Express, it was nice, and the girls got to swim! We headed out the next morning, Thursday, and made the last leg of our journey! First stop when we got to Washington was KIKO'S TACOS. Best little hole-in-the-wall Mexican joint! There food is so good! Miss it already! From there we went to La Quinta to check in and then off to start our visits with friends.
On Friday, we just took our time and started by visiting friends again. They kept the two older girls while Bo and I went to lunch at Anthony's with a friend of his. Brylee was being too shy to stay with anyone, so we took her with us! That is always an adventure!!!! That night we got to go to dinner with our friends, the Pitt's!!! They are TOTALLY AWESOME and the greatest friends. We miss them already. We went to Tony Roma's and then back to the house to just visit and let the girls spend time with the family! Whit and Alyssa used to babysit for us and so my girls were so excited to see them.
On Saturday, we visited more friends. Took the girls to Old Country Buffet, their favorite place to eat! And then, Bo and I went out to eat with the Kump's! We, of course, went back to Kiko's Tacos! We love the Kumps and miss them as well.
Sunday was up, get packed and get on the road. We made it back home early evening and were so happy to be home. The one thing we miss about Washington is the weather. It was 60s the whole time we were there! So nice! Come on Spring in Idaho!!!!
Thanks to all of our friends in Washington! We miss you already and you better come and see us soon!!!!
Hopefully this week will be a little slower, so I can catch up. Sorry, no pics. Took the camera with me, but always seemed to not have it when I needed a picture! Next time!

Ants . . . Grrrr

Okay so as I was cleaning the other day I discovered that since the snow had melted, I had seen a few ants around. Well, I was vacuuming and discovered that Roofus's food was covered in ants. I had to throw it all out and vacuum what was on the floor. I placed a few traps and kept on cleaning. I then discovered a little trial of ants in the Kitchen. Grrrrr. I hate ants. So I set another trap. But, since we are living in Mom and Dad's house, I got a thought to email Dad and ask him what he used to do about the little critters. So, I sent dad an email. This is what it said: "Do you usually have someone come and spray for ants or did you just use something yourself? The ants have come out in force since the snow melted. They are in the garage and in the house. I have set a few ant bait traps, but was wondering if you usually did something different? Let me know!!! Love ya!" Shenell

I got this response back from Dad:
"Ok this is what you do. You break up little pieces of potato chips and spread them on the floor so they can eat. The poor little buggers are hungry, and they don't like bait traps." Dad

Thanks for the advice Dad! Bo and I are still laughing everytime we bring it up!!!! We LOVE YA!!!!
Hope everyone is staying warm and off the roads! What a storm! I WANT SPRING!!!
