Weekend

Our weekend has been GREAT! Lizzy had a game on Saturday morning at 10:30. It was a bitter cold morning here in Kennewick for being the end of March, so we all bundled up and went to the game. Lizzy has her soccer sweats, her shorts, shin guards, long black socks, white shirt, green jacket, and her jersey. She wore her ear covers to try and keep her head warm. They played well, but the other team dominated this game. We don't keep score at this age, so both teams did very well.(You may wan to enlarge the picture for the full affect. Lizzy is number 8 and that is Bo jogging a long side, he was the referee for the game!)
This is Lizzy taking her turn at playing goalie!

The rest of day was good. We came home, got lunch and then Bo and I went out and mowed the lawn. I know this will make several of you very jealous that we are mowing our lawn, but it had to be mowed. It was good to be outside, even though it was pretty cold still. After we mowed the lawn, we watched basketball!

This next week we are going to be very busy getting ready to visit Idaho. It is Spring Break for us starting on the 7th. I am taking Lizzy out of school for an extra day so she can spend extra time with the cousins before they go back to school on Monday. Bo is staying here to work and save his vacation time for summer. I will be leaving with the three girls on Friday morning to head for home. We are very excited about seeing everyone, but not so excited about all the snow they still have! I hope we have a safe and dry drive home! Wish me luck!

Crazy Hair Day . . .

Today was Crazy Hair Day at Lizzy's school. We did her hair in the most abnoxious way we could think that she still liked and would wear to school. So, here is the hair do! Enjoy!!!

Easter

Well, Easter is here and there is so much to remember on such a special day. But, our girls have absolutely loved Easter this year. We painted eggs on Friday and Saturday and woke up to great surprises this morning. Here are a few pictures of our coloring eggs this weekend.

Aren't they adorable.
The girls all got a new E-Pet, flip-flops, sunglasses and an etch-a-scetch (which came in very handy at church), along with lots and lots of candy.
Brylee was soo anxious to see what was in some of her eggs, she took them with her to sit on the potty! We are having friends from our ward that have all girls over for dinner and an Easter Egg Hunt in the back yard later. I just hope the weather cooperates. Hope everyone has had a wonderful Easter holiday!

Hectic . . .

Well, this week has been a little hectic here in the Clark household. On Tuesday, I had a procedure done that has kept me down and out the past couple of days. Let me explain what is going on. Okay, after I had Brylee I had my tubes tied. Three c-sections was enough for my body to handle. Well, after I finished nursing her at about 8-9 months and got back to a regular menstrual cycle, things got kind of weird. My cycles got closer and longer and eventually started running together or not ending at all. So, I went to my doctor we tried doing the birth control for a few months to see if it would straighten my cycles out. It didn't. It actually made it a little worse. So, the next step was a procedure called Novasure. You can read more about this procedure at www.novasure.com. Anyway, on Tuesday, Bo took half-a-day off and went with me to have this procedure done. I hope no one gets offended, but I have to give a few details. My doctor started by numbing me up. Once that had taken hold, he started to dilate my uterus. Yep it hurt! Then once it had dilated to where he wanted, they stuck a long, skinny metal rod into my uterus. From here the rod heats up and they cauterize the lining of your uterus. During the procedure it feels like you are in labor with a really bad contraction. The whole procedure only lasts just a few minutes at most. However, the results are that you will be period free for the rest of your life with no hysterectomy. Tuesday after we got home from the doctor I was in a lot of pain, but by Wednesday morning there were no cramps and I was just a bit queasy. I have been a bit more queasy today than yesterday, but hopefully on the uphill climb of feeling much better. If you have any questions, leave your email and I will be more than happy to answer them for you.
The rest of the weekend should be great! Lizzy has another soccer game and then of course, Easter is on Sunday. We are going to color eggs and have some friends over for dinner and an Easter Egg Hunt in the back yard. It should be lots of fun. Hope everyone is well. Love to All!

Drywall . . .

Well, Bo and Rich have been hard at work this weekend drywalling the garage.
It basically took them all afternoon yesterday and a couple of hours today to finish! It looks soo much better. Now it is my turn to work and clean up all the dust and organize a bit. I will start on that tomorrow.

The rest of the week and weekend have been great. Lizzy had another soccer game on Saturday. They don't officially keep score, but they beat the team they played. Lizzy had a goal and several great passes/assists for goals. She has progressed so much lately and is growing up soo fast. Mikki can't wait until she can start soccer next year and go to kindergarten. In fact, kindergarten registration is going to be coming up in the next few weeks.
Little miss Brylee is potty training. She no longer wears diapers at all. Most of the time right know she is wearing a pull-up in case we are at the store. She still refuses to use the potty unless it is at our house or someone elses. Stores and restaurants still freak her out! I hope she will grow out of this soon. We have only had three or four accidents for the the past couple of weeks. She is such a big girl! Way to go B-Bo!

Talent Show Video

Okay, I hope this works for everyone. The voices you can hear in the background are of our good friends Rich and Cathy. I was using the other video camera and asked them to us the one on the camera. I thought Lizzy and Trinity did a really good job! You did AWESOME girls!

Talent Show

Lizzy participated in her school talent show today. She danced with her friend Trinity. They danced to the Cha Cha Slide! They did a very good job! I have tried all day to upload a video so you can see it, but it just does not want to accept it. I will keep trying and let you know if it works. Love to all!

Whew . . .

Well this past week was a bit crazy for us. Soccer has started with full force. The weather is nice one day and not so nice the next. We had shoe shopping and food shopping; school and pre-school. Saturday was a soccer game at 9 a.m. and then home to clean up the garage. It took us all day to clean up the garage and it is still a disaster. We are just waiting for our friends to come help us finish drywalling the garage. Hopefully that will be this week! Sunday was a lazy day with church and a long nap after the time change. Today, was a little hectic to start with. Let me explain. We were running just a couple of minutes behind schedule. I got Brylee all buckled in her car seat and she said she needed a drink. I told her I would run back in the house and get her some water. But, before I could get a half step away from the van, she coughed and threw up all over herself. Needless to say, I am very thankful for Lizzy today. She was right there to get me wet wipes and new clothes for Brylee. She was a huge helper this morning. By 10 a.m. Brylee was back up running around and seemed to be fine! Even though this has been a rough start to a new week, it will only get better. Here are a couple of pictures of Lizzy playing soccer. They are from the fall, 'cause I forgot the camera on Saturday! Oops!!

New Shoes

Well, today Mikki informed me that her Hello Kitty shoes were squishing her toes. I felt the tip of her shoes and sure enough she was ready for new shoes. I keep a tote out in the garage full of hand-me-down shoes and unfortunately for me none of them would fit her. So, off to Wal-mart we went again, for the second time in one day! We found this pair of shoes . . .

Mikki proudly put them on and skipped to the front of the store. She had them on until we got home from soccer practice. She has ran, skipped, hopped, etc. all over the place in them and cannot wait to go to pre-school tomorrow and show them off! The joys of having a new pair of shoes!

New Couches

A few days ago, we got new couches. Our older black leather ones were starting to get worn and so we sold them to some of our friends and ordered new ones. The new ones recline on each end and also match the rocking chair I got a few months ago. So, since we got new couches, we spent some time on Saturday rearranging the front room to make everything fit! It looks great and Bo and I are soo excited to get to sit by each other on the love seat and kick our legs up! The girls seem to really enjoy them and have actually wanted to sleep on them at night! Hope everyone has had a great week and looks forward to the one ahead.
