The Adam-Ondi-Amen ValleyMom and Dad spoke in church yesterday as their "farewell" and did an AWESOME job! Of course, they had all of their daughters in tears, along with a couple of son-in-laws and a lot of extended family members! We are so excited for them. This is their last week at home. There is lots of packing to be done this week and we hope we can fit everything they need to take in the truck. Dad says they will pack all of his stuff first and then if there is any room they will pack mom's!!!
We are so blessed to have them in our lives and to be going on this wonderful mission. Kathy and I discussed it the other day and we are actually a bit jealous of them. They are going to have soo many neat, spritual experiences, and we can't wait to hear about each and every one of them!
Good Luck Mom and Dad! We love you!!!
Get ready for lots of posts starting in March! Mom wants us to update all the time so she won't get so homesick!!!

I am so excited for them. Sorry we didn't get there for the "farewell". My life is so out of control right now. Wish them luck for me. We love them and are going to miss them.
Blair and I talked about what a neat famiy you Madsens are. We're greatful to know your parents. I'm sure taking care of the homefront is a blessing. I'll miss your dad's teasing anitcs! Just ask him about me calling the fire department! That one HAS to go in the books as a classic.
Yesterday was lots of fun - there were so many family there! And, I don't think it will matter how much you guys post, your mom will still be homesick. :-)
Shenell, your little girls are so cute. That is so exciting your parents are leaving for a mission. Hope you don't mind that I peeked in on your blog. Hilarie Daniels Thompson
What a great family - I love your parents they have always been so good to us. Now that you dad won't be sharing his testimony every month tell Bo he better be ready to step up to the plate since your dad was the one who would always break the silence.
Looks GREAT!!!
