Ants . . . Grrrr

Okay so as I was cleaning the other day I discovered that since the snow had melted, I had seen a few ants around. Well, I was vacuuming and discovered that Roofus's food was covered in ants. I had to throw it all out and vacuum what was on the floor. I placed a few traps and kept on cleaning. I then discovered a little trial of ants in the Kitchen. Grrrrr. I hate ants. So I set another trap. But, since we are living in Mom and Dad's house, I got a thought to email Dad and ask him what he used to do about the little critters. So, I sent dad an email. This is what it said: "Do you usually have someone come and spray for ants or did you just use something yourself? The ants have come out in force since the snow melted. They are in the garage and in the house. I have set a few ant bait traps, but was wondering if you usually did something different? Let me know!!! Love ya!" Shenell

I got this response back from Dad:
"Ok this is what you do. You break up little pieces of potato chips and spread them on the floor so they can eat. The poor little buggers are hungry, and they don't like bait traps." Dad

Thanks for the advice Dad! Bo and I are still laughing everytime we bring it up!!!! We LOVE YA!!!!
Hope everyone is staying warm and off the roads! What a storm! I WANT SPRING!!!

The first year we moved into our home, we had earwigs everywhere.... blaah!!!! They seriously make me sick. I think when they dug the ground for the foundation, they must have opened nests. I wanted to move... anywhere! Your dad is a hoot!
