Last Monday we took our Scout Troop to a Greenhouse in Ogden. They learned how they keep the plants and flowers at a constant temperature, how they plant, water, fertilize, etc. Here our "tour guide" (one of our scout's grandfather) shows the boys how the plants are watered. It was very interesting the boys loved it.

Then it was off to the Ogden Nature Center for some exploring. These two big fellas were on one of the trails next to an out building. They were HUGE!!!! Of course, several of the boys pretended to take target practice!!!! LOL
Off of one of the trails is this pond. It was supposed to have baby frogs in it, but all we could see were turtles!!!! Here all the boys are trying to count how many turtles they can see!
Here is one of the little fellas! They were really cool! We had a GREAT time. The mesquitos ate ME alive, but it was worth it!!!! What an enjoyable trip!!!! Thanks Troop!
