Wednesday, June 2, 2010 . . . Part 1

Wednesday morning we got up and waited out a little rainstorm and headed back to Nauvoo. The Nauvoo Temple!
Plaque across the street from the temple.

The plaque above is underneath this statue! AWESOME!

Bo really liked this top! Here they showed you how they used to make the guns! It was pretty neat!

Some of the guns on display!
More guns!

We went on a carriage ride into the country and had to cross this creek on our ride! It was VERY bumpy and the Elder that was giving us the tour made sure that all children sat on the inside of the carriage! After crossing the creek we knew why they had to sit on the inside!!!!!

View of the Missouri River!

Old Mormon Well.
The carriage ride was one of my favorite parts. They told old Pioneer stories about the Saints and their testimonies. It was actually a great testimony builder to see how emotional these Elders got talking about these Saints.

The carriage ride was also one of our favorites. The Elder giving our tour had the carriage stop as we sang I am a Child of God. It was wonderful
